very bad decision if taken. It is certainly not going to woo majority of Central Government employees who are expecting promotions. Rather it will hit back.

the retirement age should not be enhanced to 62 . If this happens, the recruitment to central government job will be affected.

The benefit of retirement age enhancement to 62 years should be optional, that is to say, those who are opting and/or wanting to take the benefit of 62 years, should not be given any pension and be covered under NPS, and others be given pension.

Large number of employees are not in favour of enhancement of retirement age from 60 to 62. Mostly IAS officers are interested. Unions of Central Government Employees have not demanded so. Why government is interested. Instead, fresh recruitment should be dome.

Please do not increase the retirement age to 62. It will undoubtedly spoil the future of younger generation who need a good worthy impetus. Old is old but not gold. The earlier saying –OLD IS GOLD DOES NOT FIT IN CASE OF HUMANBEINGS. It is a retrogative step and blocking the future of those who are in line for promotion..Staff at age 62 do require much needed rest.Already they cannot walk properly with enthusiasm, see the things clearly, hear fully and properly. What work can you take from them?. It is just making staff who are satisfied, more richer.
